The Denver New Liberals and YIMBY Denver are hosting a joint happy hour with Representative Brittany Pettersen to celebrate her introduction of the federal YIMBY Act in Congress, and to celebrate recent wins for pro-housing candidates.

Representative Pettersen will make remarks about the YIMBY Act, explaining what it is, and what it would do.

Many in Colorado recognize the need for federal, state, and local action to address our housing shortage. This is an opportunity to learn more about the YIMBY Act, and to celebrate!

June 28th is Bike To Work Day! Bikeable cities are as evidence-based as they can get! On June 28th we will give snacks and water to people.

Let's make Denver Metro more bikeable! June 28th is Bike To Work Day! During the PM we will hand out snacks and water to people biking home from work. You do not need to show up for the whole time, just show up for a few moments and hand stuff out.

Denver is in a housing crisis and we need to build our way out of it! Join Denver New Liberal on January 23 at 5:30 PM at the Denver City Council Meeting to support the Park Hill Golf Course development. Denver has a great plan to build centrally located housing near public transportation. We need to show the City Council there is support for this. A closed and rotting-away golf course is not a solution to the housing crisis, housing is.

In spring 2023, the city of Denver is having an election! We need to get ready for it. Join us as we talk about how we can be involved.

It is time for Denver New Liberal to get ready to make a big impact in Denver! This time we are going local.

On November 28th, 6:00 PM, at Wynkoop Brewing Company, we will be getting ready for the Denver Municipal Races. If we want to make an impact and make a change, the local level is where to do it.

At this meeting, we will discuss how we can be involved in the 2023 Denver mayoral and city council elections. Join us and be part of local politics.
