1. A Fresh Look for CNL's Newsletter and Website in 2025
Welcome to The New Liberal Bulletin — a fresh new look for our monthly newsletter.
The New Liberal Bulletin isn’t just an email —it’s also the name of our blog, where we’re ramping up written content from CNL leadership and members. Our website’s homepage and “What We Believe” page also got sleek refreshes, making it easier to find our latest blog posts and podcasts, and see what we believe.
Check out our first piece in The New Liberal Bulletin, where CNL’s Matt Hughes and Morgan Rinehart argue that Senator Thom Tillis is putting political gain over national security.
2. The 2024 CNL Impact Report
Check out CNL’s first Annual Impact Report, courtesy of Steering Committee member Tyler Laferriere-Holloway.
In 2024, we added 5 new chapters, 186 members, held 251 events, and all six candidates we supported through our PAC won their elections.

The Summit - Bring on the Noise! Let's Build the Stadium Makers District
By Erik Nielsen | February 27

The New Liberal Bulletin - Thom Tillis’s Confirmation Votes are Weakening American Security for his own Political Gain
By Matt Hughes and Morgan Rinehart | March 3
"Imagine a foreign adversary who wants to bring America down. Having a senator in their pocket would be a powerful asset. If this unnamed adversary directed their puppet senator to use their vote to harm America, you’d get a voting record that looks like Thom Tillis’s."
