Center for New Liberalism & Houston New Liberals Endorse Isaiah Martin for TX-18
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Center for New Liberalism and our local chapter in Houston, the Houston New Liberals, are excited to announce our endorsement of Isaiah Martin for the special election to replace the late Congressman Sylvester Turner in Texas’ 18th Congressional District.
“Now, more than ever, Congress needs young new leaders, who can bring a pragmatic voice to the table,” explains Center for New Liberalism Director Colin Mortimer. “Isaiah’s passion for Houston and willingness to fight and stand up for the liberal values that we believe in—economic growth, expanded opportunity, and a government that delivers results—make him the right choice for TX-18. We couldn’t be more excited to endorse him today.”
Isaiah represents a new generation of leaders who are ready to take on the challenges of today and focus on real solutions. From supporting pro-growth economic policies to improving public services, he understands how to make government work better for the people. His commitment to pragmatic policymaking sets him apart as a leader who can deliver meaningful change in Congress at a time when it’s desperately needed.
The Center for New Liberalism and the Houston New Liberals encourage voters in TX-18 to support Isaiah Martin in the upcoming special election. His dedication to pragmatic and innovative policymaking is what our communities—and our country—need.
