FAQ
Your chapter code is listed along with your chapter on our map.
We process our memberships manually, so there will sometimes be a delay between when you begin paying dues and when you get the welcome email. After becoming a dues-paying member, you will receive an email within 48 hours with the invite link to join our Slack. If you don’t receive this email within that timeframe, please reach out to tobin@cnliberalism.org.
The Center for New Liberalism exists as a project of an organization called New Democracy. As such, all member dues are processed through New Democracy’s entities — but dues always go to supporting CNL’s activities or candidates in the US.
Sometimes our payment processor ActBlue has problems with international addresses. If this happens to you, please contact Tobin Stone at tobin@cnliberalism.org, and we will assist you with setting up your membership through an alternative payment provider.

No. We encourage individuals to become a member at whichever tier best captures their means and desired level of support.
Allow 4 weeks for your membership card to arrive, though in most cases it will arrive sooner.
Our Patreon now exclusively supports our podcast. Patreon and membership also offer different sets of benefits. Choose whichever platform offers the benefits you prefer. If you are indifferent to benefits and just want to maximize your support, a membership is the best way to do so, as we pay less in fees to process those funds.
Email us to have your chapter code changed and a new card issued for your new city.
Yes. When you set up your monthly donation through ActBlue, you should have created an account. You can log in to ActBlue at secure.actblue.com, and from there you will be able to edit or cancel your recurring donation.
If you became a dues-paying member before May 2024, your donation is likely processed through our old system, DonorBox. Click here to log in to DonorBox.
