2026 Steering Committee candidate declaration form

Please read the following before submitting your declaration of candidacy:

• The deadline to declare one's candidacy is 11:59 PM on Wednesday, July 9th, 2026.

• Online Elections will be held starting July 13th, while in-person voting will take place at NLAS on July 17th.

• Candidacy eligibility will be verified using the email you provided when becoming a chapter lead, dues-paying member, or Patreon member. If the email you provide on your declaration does not match the eligibility rolls, your declaration may be discarded. Please email Tobin Stone at tobin@cnliberalism.org for questions regarding your eligibility.

• Steering Committee positions are open to all chapter leads and dues-paying members, as verified by the eligibility rolls.

• Your bio and motivation statement will not be shared publicly, only with eligible voters. Your personal contact information will only be shared with CNL Staff.
